Kristian Brown is the Principal of VRGO Capital, an Arizona based commercial real estate investment firm. With a wealth of experience in the industry, he has established himself as a respected and trusted professional in the field. Kristian’s career in real estate began after graduating from the University of Arizona’s Eller College of Management in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Urban and Regional Development.
Since then, Kristian has gained extensive experience in the industry, having held key positions at major firms such as CrowdStreet and Cushman and Wakefield. As a Capital Markets Associate at CrowdStreet, he led the sourcing of multifamily, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, and self-storage deals, originating $241M in equity financing across 19 transactions. During his tenure, Kristian also gained valuable expertise in due diligence processes associated with development, acquisitions, and recapitalizations of commercial real estate.
At Cushman and Wakefield, Kristian served as an Associate in Equity, Debt & Structured Finance, where he represented owners and developers of multifamily, office, and industrial real estate in securing financing for JV Equity placement, construction loans, bridge financing, and acquisition financing. During his time there, he drove business development and pipeline through cold-outreach, amassing a deal flow of over $300MM in financing between March 2020 to January 2022.
Kristian is also an active philanthropist, dedicating time and resources to giving back to his community. He is an active member of several commercial real estate organizations in Phoenix, including ULI and NAIOP.
